The annual UNM-PNM math contest first round took place 10/30/21-11/02/21. Like last year, but unlike the years before, the contest took place online and involved 750 students from 80 schools and 38 cities and towns from across New Mexico. This year's contest organizers were  Gleb Zhelezov and James Degnan, who made sure this year's problems heavily featured the number 2021.
